Activities that work on children being able to identify adjectives in a sentence. These have been created for LA or SEN children to help them build their understanding of adjectives.

A tool that can be used to explore and develop vocabulary. Simply put a word in the middle and then get children to explore that particular word, including the definition/s, whether they can add prefix or suffixes, what word classes it belongs to, synonyms and antonyms, words they can make from it and any words that they can think that rhyme with it. Not all categories will always be relevant but it will help develop their understanding of a particular word and the branches from it.
